Using paths and advanced commands for endpoints in data flows
You can add paths and advanced commands on FTP and SFTP endpoints included in a data flow. You can add only advanced commands for AS2 endpoints. Any paths or commands you add in these cases are stored at the data flow level and do not affect the endpoint per se.
Paths
You can add paths to help define your FTP or SFTP endpoint.
When you click Select to enable your endpoint, the Path entry
field is enable for you to specify a path within your FTP or SFTP endpoint. This
path indicates where in the endpoint the data flow should either get files or put
files.
Note: If you specify both a path and commands, the commands will override
the path.
Commands
You can add commands for AS2, FTP and SFTP endpoints to be executed when the data
flow runs. Where commands are valid for both From and To FTP and SFTP endpoints,
commands are only valid for AS2 To endpoints – no commands are available for AS2
From endpoints. Valid commands vary per endpoint as follows:
- AS2 To Endpoint
-
- command
- description
- FTP From Endpoint
-
- command
- description
- FTP To Endpoint
-

- SFTP From Endpoint

- SFTP To Endpoint
