Data Flows

Description

A data flow is the configuration required to transfer files between two data stores. Data flows include actions, which are operations the system can carry out on data as it is transferred. See Actions for file system-to-file system data flows.

When you run a data flow, it generates a job.

Data Flows page

Use the Data Flows page to view a list of data flows on your system.

For each data flow, you can see the following attributes:
  • Name
  • To and From data stores
  • Creator
  • Date and user who last modified it
  • Status of the last job created using the data flow
  • Total number of jobs created using the data flow

From the Data Flow page, you can select one or more data flows (using their check boxes) and then stop any jobs associated with them or delete them.
